In July 2019 I was fortunate enough to accompany my friend Jennifer on a trip to her beloved “2nd home”. Jen has made many trips to the island and I was able to join her to experience it firsthand.
Cuba definitely is a different world in comparison to America. It’s hard to describe. I didn’t think about politics when I went but focused on the people and art, and I am so glad I did. The people are warm and friendly, the food delicious, and the art – amazing!
